I saw this robust giant of a Christmas tree being covered in both a colourorgie and with branches with leaves, hearts, faces and whimsical owls. Birgitte Birger Gaarsdals univers is rich on both colour, shape and fantasy. Often with an addition of peculiar or comic imaginative figural motifs. In many of her paintings you keep on finding new whimsicals, even after you throught there were no more. Birgitte has been painting for 14 years and is now painting full time and is self sufficient.
